Two of the very unfortunate changes happening in world's climate is that it is, first, becoming very unpredictabe and, second, droughts in inhabited areas are increasing. As examples of the first are that flooding has been a problem in many places, and that the normal rain in the beginning of growing period has not come.

The most pressing problems generated by the above are migration and terrorism. Both are initially generated by the perceived worsening of living conditions. As long as the agricultural land produces enough food, dissatisfaction is held in check, and people stay where they are. However, if droughts become more common, people (especially young men) first migrate to local towns, and since the life there is no better, any risks will be taken to be able to migrate especially to rich Europe at present.

The deep dissatisfaction both in the place of origin and after migration, fed by the segregation by the local inhabitants - the immigrants are not taken into the new society as its full members - generates terrorism.

Consequently, denying climate change and not doing things to alliviate its consequences, like is presently done by the US president, actually worsens the problems president Trump says he is fighting against. We should see that by fighting climate change we also fight uncontrolled migration and terrorism.
